This was produced 2008 for the Triple A Minor League Baseball team Syracuse Chief's. It was jointly available in our store and the "Whistlestop Souvenirs" stadium gift shop. This covered was 100% made in the United States of America and featured pad-printed graphics and operating knuckle couplers. This "grass seed" covered hopper car was the second of the Syracuse Chiefs offerings and commemorates the installation of real grass on the playing field, replacing artificial turf that had been used for several years.
