N Scale RBMN - Rd# 82195 - Rel. 5/24 These 50’ boxcars with Barber Roller Bearing trucks were built for Rock Island in the late 1970s, and through several sales, eventually made it to the Reading, Blue Mountain & Northern fleet of boxcars. Painted black with white sills, it has a capacity of 5,250 cubic feet. Formed in 1983, the Reading, Blue Mountain & Northern is a regional freight railroad operating 300 miles of track in eastern Pennsylvania. Sometimes shortened to just “Reading & Northern,” the railroad primarily transports coal, but also operates a fleet of general service freight cars to service various industries along the way.
